The White Glove Mover are still open and operating as usual, as we are considered an essential service.
All of our staff have been supplied with the required PPE, have been provided with our company COVID-19 safety plan and have the official government work permits, to lawfully undertake all facets of moving house or office. All of our staff were double dose vaccinated as at 26/11/2021 - as mandated by the Victorian government. Some staff are triple dose vaccinated, with the intention of protecting themselves and our clients. Regular RAPID testing of our staff is conducted - we take the safety of our staff and clients very seriously.
In the interest of the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff, we have made some changes to our procedures in response to the COVID-19 health situation. Our new procedures are to ensure we not only comply to the legal requirements / government directives but also, a commitment to our customers / employees health.
We use the recommended hygiene standards of hand washing, sanitising, and wearing of masks / gloves, we ensure that our staff do not attend work if they feel unwell (and get tested if they do feel unwell), we check regularly if staff members have been in contact with anyone returning from overseas or have had exposure to someone with COVID-19, we ask customers if they have had any contact with someone returning from overseas or have had exposure to someone with COVID-19, we practice social distancing where possible and also request that clients minimise attendance / practice social distancing, when our staff are working in your homes or office. As legally required, all staff vaccination certificates have been recorded (ensuring we comply with government requirements). We ask that our clients identify there vaccination status, if they have any symptoms prior to the move and we reserve the right to request that unvaccinated clients not be in the areas that our staff are undertaking their duties. We must ensure that our staff are safe and limit their potential exposure to this highly contagious virus. Please ask our office staff about our terms and conditions regarding this issue. We expect transparency from both staff and clients - we will not undertake any relocation if our Covid plan and requirements are not met.
In these unprecedented times, we ask that everyone (both staff and clients) abide by the government directives. The White Glove Mover has not changed, so far as delivering a safe, smooth, stress free, quality and comprehensive service. The planning and co ordination of your move remains our main priority.
